Water is a thirst-quenching, but also purifying element for the body. In fact, water cleanses the entire interior of the human organism. Added to nutrients and full of vitamins, water becomes a detoxifier, which can help the body revitalize and rebound after ingesting fatty and hearty foods. The water added to these elements results in what are called "flavoured waters". If these elements are natural elements such as fruits and vegetables for example, the water becomes natural flavoured water. To detoxify yourself after the holidays, some detox water recipes are proposed.
Flavoured water cucumber ginger
This recipe is very popular with those who want to lose weight, as it is also known to help lose excess body fat. To make the cucumber ginger flavoured water, you need water, obviously, an average cucumber for 1 litre of water, a ginger about the size of a finger of your hand, a lime, and a few mint leaves, about 5 or 6. Wash the ingredients well, and slice the cucumber, lemon, and ginger. Put the water in a carafe, preferably a glass one, and add all the ingredients. Leave to infuse for at least 30 minutes. It is important to know that the longer the infusion time, the more flavourful the water is. It is best to leave the mixture to infuse overnight.
Vitamin-flavoured water
Vitamin-flavoured water is especially intended for those who want to recover in terms of vitamins after heavy holiday meals. To do this, you need two medium oranges, a lime, a yellow lemon, a quarter of a medium watermelon, 7 to 8 mint leaves. Wash the ingredients well. Cut or dice the oranges, lemons and watermelons into small slices or cubes. Do not peel them. Put water in a glass carafe, add the ingredients already prepared. Leave to stand overnight, or if time is short, at least 30 minutes.
Fruit-flavoured water
With this formula, the taste of the fruit will make the water pass easily, and drinking will no longer be a pain for those who have difficulty drinking because of the clear taste of the water. To make it, you need a medium orange, 100g of strawberries or other red fruits, a portion of pineapple, a portion of watermelon, and a lime. Wash the ingredients well. Cut the orange into slices, the strawberries into quarters, and the pineapple and watermelon into small pieces. Put the water in a carafe and add all the ingredients. Add the zest and juice of the lime. Let stand overnight, or 30 minutes minimum.
